While the silver market did manage a fresh new low for the move on Friday morning, all things considered the market held up better than many might have expected in the wake of the data flow. However, the US economic data wasn't exactly rosy and therefore it is possible that some flight to quality buyers or silver moved toward silver in the face of the early Friday morning price slide. In the end it has to be a little disappointing to the silver trade to see the copper and platinum markets outperform silver for most of the trading session Friday.
